Blogtember Challenge 2016 { five things that bring me joy}

I recently came across the Blogtember Challenge and knew that I wanted to participate in as many as I could. Today's was no exception. The prompt today was "5 things that bring you joy". How do I pick just five?

ONE | Getting into bed at night with just changed sheets and a freshly made bed.
There is something about it that I love. It's only that one time when they sheets are crisp and not slept on that really makes me happy. (I'm weird I know)

 TWO | Babies fresh out of the bath.
 If you don't have kids you may not know what I'm talking about ,but just wait!  That smell of clean babies and the way they look in their jammies. Ah there is nothing like it.

THREE | Doing things for other.
 Whether it's sending someone a happy, a thinking about you email/text {we know I don't do phone calls} there is something that I love about this. Knowing that it will make someone smile, or help make their day better is something that truly brings joy to me. I have always loved helping other and doing this just out of the goodness of my heart and this is no exception. If I can brighten someones day it truly makes it a better day for me!

FOUR | Hearing my boys laugh.
 Gosh, really there is no greater sound! Those first laughs from your new baby are amazing. But those belly laughs that you get later on are even better. Yesterday I witnessed my boys playing together for the first time. They were playing peek-a-boo and both laughing so hard. It literally brought me to tears to see them playing and loving each other. And the fact that they can make each other laugh, warms my heart to no end!

FIVE | My husband!
Of course I couldn't list five things without him. I have said it time and time again but there is no way I could get through life without him. He is my everything. On top of being an awesome hard worker/business owner he is an amazing dad and husband. There is not a day that goes by that I am not thankful for him. His ability to make me laugh is one of his top qualities! He has brought me so much joy in so many things and I know that it's only going to continue with each day!

Of course there are many more. Christmas, baking, making it somewhere without having to stop at a red light, I could list so many more!

This is such a fun link up and I can't wait to participate in several more over the month! I hope you have a great Wednesday! (I can't believe it's already Wednesday, such a nice thing with only having a 4 day work week!)

  3. What a fun challenge. Fresh sheets are the BEST, aren't they? And I'm with you on doing things for others as well. I'm one who prefers to give gifts rather than receive them.
