Mug Love Reveal + Starbucks Giveaway

I was so excited about this year's mug love exchange. It's always so fun to get paired with someone and to shop for them/see what they pick out for you. I was even more excited when I found out I was paired with Jess from Secrets Of a SAHM. Jess was one of my first blogger friends. We are both from NC and I remember being a newbie blogger and she was so sweet to me. She's got the cutest kiddos and is the kindest soul you'll ever meet!

I was so excited to open up her package, who doesn't love getting mail addressed to them! Usually it's something for my boys and rarely for me. Jess knocked it out of the park with this sweet little package!

I had told her that I have gotten in the habit of drinking my coffee out of a travel mug since they have a lid, because...toddlers! I'm too paranoid to drink out of a mug, I know someone will knock it over or bump me and hot coffee will burn one of us!  Pink is my favorite color and I loved this cute travel mug!!

I thought this "never give up" sign was darling. I've got some goals I'm working towards right now and so this little sign will be just the motivation that I need. I'm going to put it in my kitchen window sill.

Much to my surprise when I opened the mug there were even more goodies! A Starbucks gift card (woo!!) and cute little travel folgers coffee packets and a travel vanilla creamer (which is my absolute fave and I don't even think I told her that!)

This was such a fun exchange and just the thing to bring in the Fall season! Thanks so much Jess for my goodies, I'm so glad you're my friend!

For those of you that want to win your own Starbucks gift card to fill your mug with the other hosts and I have teamed up to give away a $50 Starbucks gift card! Follow the prompts below, the winner will be chosen October 8th!

Whats Up Wednesday {Sept}

It's time for another month of What's Up Wednesday! I haven't done one of these in awhile and figured it was time!

1. What We're Eating This Week..
Monday Jack had a soccer game at 5:30 so we ate dinner out, Tuesday I made Salsa Chicken, Wednesday is Burgers with Patricks family, Thursday leftovers, Friday hopefully pizza!

2. What I'm reminiscing About...
The boys went to the beach with my FIL and Patricks aunt over the weekend and I'm thinking about how much fun they had and how nice it was that we had 3 whole days kid free. It was so nice to relax and do nothing.

3. What I"m Loving..
I'm loving all things fall. Give me all the pumpkins! I just took pictures for my fall home tour that I'm planning on posting next week, be on the lookout! I'm also loving how sweet Jack and Graham are with each other lately, they truly are best friends!

4. What We've been up to...
We are pretty boring around here. School, playdates, and of course soccer! Jack also had his second dentist appointment yesterday and was awesome! He even let them paint the fluoride on his teeth! (Winning!)

5. What I"m dreading..
I can't think of anything that I'm really dreading right now!

6. What I"m working on...
I'm working on getting some inspiration for my blog. I've been in such a slump and can't seem to get out of it. I'm also working on trying to get my house organized once and for all...it's a slow process folks.

7. What I'm excited about..
October begins the month of celebrations! First is mine on the 8th, then Graham turns 2 on the 28th, followed by Halloween and then Jack turns 4 November 5th!

8. What I'm watching..
I'm watching This Is Us! It started back last night and oh man, it did not disappoint. I just adore this show!!

9. What I'm listening to..
The radio is always on country unless my kiddos are in the car and then we are either listening to old macdonald had a farm, the Trolls Soundtrack or some move that's playing!

10. What I'm wearing..
When I'm not wearing my mom uniform of leggings and a tee, I've got my Old Navy Rockstar jeggings on. I have them in multiple colors and they are a major favorite of mine! Paired with the Old Navy Swing tee and some cute flats and you're good to go!

11. What I'm doing this weekend..
Other than a soccer game Saturday morning, we will be watching NC State play football! A low key fall weekend is in the books!

12.What I"m looking forward to next month..
Birthdays and Halloween! Two of my favorite things. I love seeing the boys dress up and this year their party is going to be halloween themed so it should be really fun!

13. What else is new..
Nada...my life is pretty boring as of late! I am headed to get my hair done today and am going back  to my fall/winter dark!

Five Things That Bring Me Joy

Happy Friday! Today I'm doing my Friday Favorites a bit differently, I'm talking about things that bring me joy!

O N E | Seeing my FIL with my boys... He is the sweetest with them and has the kindest heart. They are currently at the beach together for the weekend and I know will have the best time!

T W O | Clean Sheets.. There is nothing better than getting into bed at night with freshly changed sheets. They are crisp, have such a good smell and generally so much better than any other night you get into bed, ha!

T H R E E | Phone calls/texts with old friends...The kind of friends that you may not talk to every day but when you do talk it's as if nothing has changed.

F O U R | Today is the official first day of Fall...This brings me so much joy. Fall is by far my favorite season. (Well Other than Christmas) My birthday is in two weeks, then Graham turns 2, Halloween, and Jack turns 4. So many fun things happen during the fall. And don't even get me started on the weather, I can't wait for the cool crisp mornings!

F I V E | Picking up Graham from school...The boys are on separate playgrounds when I pick them up. I always get Jack first and then we go and get Graham. As soon as Graham sees Jack he runs as fast as he can to the fence yelling "JAACCCK" over and over. It's the sweetest thing. They love each other so much!

There you have it. Five things that are currently bringing me joy right now. This weekend Patrick and I are having a kid free weekend! What? That never happens, at least not when we are home. We always are going somewhere when the boys are gone for the weekend. I'm excited to go visit my bestie who's baby girl is still in the hospital and tomorrow night we are going to dinner with some friends. A much needed relaxing and restful weekend is ahead. And if you ask Patrick, he will say he's going to watch Game Of Thrones the whole weekend...he's finally on season seven. ha!

Have a great weekend, friends!

Life Lately

It's been a long time since I've done a big ole photo dump/life lately!

Jack Started soccer last Saturday and had the best time! He is on the same team as 3 of his best buds! I can't wait to watch these games over the coming weeks.

Last weekend we celebrated one of best friends 40th Birthday! It was such a fun night. And I just have to give major props to this charcuterie board that my friend made! Seriously it was amazing!

The boys had a spend the night with grandaddy over the weekend and they made us breakfast the next day. I'm learning that it's a boys world and I'm just living in it!

We had to cheer on our Panthers on Sunday, and by cheer I mean they watched their iPads while we watched, ha!

I love getting pictures from Grahams sweet teacher during the school day!

Just 3 boys doing their thing.

Excuse this blurry pic but Graham loves to dress up and it makes me laugh every time!

It's impossible to get a decent picture these days!

Last night we all went to the fair. It's a tradition that we've done since Jack was a baby. We meet up with Patrick's parents, brother and our nephew. Here's where I'm going to be real honest..Graham was a disaster. He wasn't tall enough to ride any rides and all he wanted to do was run in every which way possible. He was losing his mind crying because we wouldn't let him and Patrick and I got fed up so we left with him and left Jack with Grandaddy. I am reminded why I always get a sitter for him for things like this. We missed out on having fun with Jack because of it. I feel like a failure because I don't understand why other families can do fun things with small kids. I am just going to have to realize that right now getting a babysitter for Graham is the best option, I don't want to miss out on having fun with Jack. Having said that, Steve is the best grandaddy ever. Jack had a blast! They even went up on a helicopter ride. We missed Donna being there and I felt such a void but I'm glad we can still go and do and enjoy these little moments!

So there you go. A big ole photo dump of what we have been up to lately! What have you been up to?
