A Firetruck 3rd Birthday Party

Jack is into 3 things right now. Mickey Mouse, construction trucks/trucks in general, and firetrucks! I knew I wanted to do one of these for the theme of his party. I decided on firetrucks. Originally I was going to do it at the local fire station but after some thought decided I would just do it in our backyard.

We rented a bounce house and prayed for good weather so the party could be outside! The same friend who made Graham's invitations and banners also made the invitations, banner, cookie tags and cupcake toppers. I really kept the decor minimal with some balloons, a banner, and a huge firetruck (gifted to Jack by his grandparents).

Jack had the best time! All his little friends were so cute and they enjoyed bouncing and playing outside. The weather was fabulous and finally felt like a cool fall day.

And now for picture overload!

The action shots from the bounce house were some of my favorite. The kids had the best time! Jack has asked for his Mickey Mouse bounce house every day since the party. Too bad we had to return it on Monday morning.

These two are so silly, I always wonder what they are talking about.

Sweet Graham even got in on the action and had so much fun!

Time for some cupcakes!

The sweetest smile ever!!

It was a great party! I am so glad that we did it at home, it was exhausting but worth it. And now I am finished with birthday parties for an entire year!!

  9. Such a fun party! I never did a truck themed party for Cash, but I will with Wyatt for sure. When Cash turned 2, we had an "Oh Twodles" party with the same color scheme as you. :)
