We focused on the birthday boy and had a great time. The weather was so nice so we were able to be outside and enjoy the backyard. We put up our mini bounce house for the bigger kids.
I chose a pumpkin theme since it is pretty much the theme of my house right now. It's such an easy theme to use for this time of year, and although I did the same theme for Jack's first birthday {hello birthdays 8 days apart} it turned out so sweet and was very different!
Back at the end of September several bloggers posted about Noah's Bandaid Project. I was instantly drawn to this and was sad that I didn't participate in sending fun bandaids when everyone else did. I did not want to have gifts at Graham's party. We have so many toys as is and he doesn't need anything. I thought that it would be great to have everyone bring bandaids to go towards this awesome project! Please check out the website to read more about it. It touched my heart and I look forward to sending these fun bandaids off soon!
My sweet friend and store owner Sabrina created the invitations, banner, high chair banner, and cookie bag tags. Her shop Olive Juice & Dandelions can be found on instagram, Facebook, and Easy!
Printing off monthly pictures and hanging them was a favorite from Jack's birthday and I knew I wanted to do the same for Graham. I was so slack this go around with getting the same picture in the same chair wearing a white onesie and a sticker on his belly. Thankfully I did take a picture monthly and was able to use an app to put the month on it. #secondchildprobs
He was so little and I don't realize how little hair he had to start off with!
I set everything up on my kitchen table. I really kept the decorations minimal with the exception of the banner, some balloons, and the monthly pictures that was about it.
The girl who made the cakes and cookies totally blew me away. This was his smash cake. It was darling, seriously almost too pretty to even let him smash his hands into!
I loved the cake that she made for everyone to eat. It was a funfetti cake and so yummy. I loved the little pumpkins that she made out of fondant.
These chalkboard signs are such a popular thing right now. I had the same one done for Jack and love looking at the two of them and comparing.
Cookies make the best party favor! You don't get sent home with some random toy that will get lost and they taste amazing! I loved the way the pumpkins turned out and the 1's with the pumpkins at the bottom were darling!
This is what everyone put their bandaids in that they brought!
Granddaddy and Nana are the best!
This girl right here is our precious babysitter and photographer! She took awesome pictures at the party and it was so nice not to have to worry about getting pictures. We love Anna so much and wish she would just move in with us!
My parents were not able to make it to the party and we missed them so much! It was the perfect day for my now perfect one year old! Next up, Jack's birthday party on Sunday. I am going to be partied out come Monday morning!
