Reintroduction

Hi friends! We have yet another snow day around here. My boys have not been to school a full week yet in January. I really love snow but what I don't love is lack of routine. And that's what we've had since we went on Christmas break. I am over it and ready to get back and start a new month! So with that being said I thought it would be fun to reintroduce myself around here. I love getting to know new bloggers and hearing from new (and old) readers!

I am Emily! Wife to Patrick and mama to the two sweetest red heads around Jack (4) and Graham (2)

I recently did 10 random facts about me that you can check out here!

I am a lover of blogging, entertaining, reality tv, barre class, getting my nails done, shopping, kids clothes, all things monogrammed, keeping it real and so much more!

In keeping with the "keeping it real" theme I'm going to go ahead and tell you that I don't have it all together. Really never, but currently majorly! This season of life is hard. {my sanity is thanks in part to my girlfriends with toddlers} You know how they say "terrible twos?" Well did you also know that four is terrible as well. So basically I am listening to someone pitch a fit or throw a tantrum at all hours of the day. When one is crying the other is blissfully happy and then switch. Now I love these little boys with all of my heart but I could do without so many tantrums right now. Add in the schedule that has lacked since before Christmas break and we are all about to go a little crazy. I am praying that next week brings about a routine that will continue for longer than 2 days. You will usually find me being totally honest with how hard mom-in' is when reading this little space.

I want to be super transparent on here and not seem like everything is rainbows and butterflies, because we all know that's not real life! Thanks so much for stopping by, I love to hear from you, and while my replying isn't always the fastest you can count on a message back from me! One of my goals for this year is to be better about replying to comments that same day. So grab a cup of coffee and sit back and watch my crazy life unfold!

  2. It was so nice learning more about you, Emily! Thank you for joining the link up. I didn't realize our boys are the same age. I can definitely relate about trying to keep my sanity. They surely make my head spin some days. Sierra~Beautifully Candid

  3. You're right, it's not always rainbows and butterflies!! There's ALOT of crying and whining that goes on in our house too, it can be exhausting!
