Friday Favorites

Happy Friday! This week has thrown me all kinds of off. We started the week with two snow days and are ending it with 70 degree temps...I just don't understand NC weather.

My favorites for the week...

O N E | Last night some girlfriends and I went to hear Adrian Wood {Tales of an Educated Debutant} speak and then went to get Mexican for dinner. It was a fun girls night. Adrian is just as hilarious in person as she is on her blog. If you don't follow her I highly recommend it. She keeps it real which is one of my favorite qualities of a blogger!

T W O | I got this Tarte eyeshadow pallet for Christmas and I'm loving it! Not only is it the perfect neutral colors that can go from day to night it also has a yummy smell to it.

T H R E E | I had been on the hunt for a new mascara, I've been a benefit gal for as long as I can remember. I saw another blogger post about this Tarte mascara and decided to give it a try and I am loving it. It really makes my lashes so full and long!

F O U R | We recently planned a Disney trip. It's forever away, not until November. But the travel agent  (Traveling Ears) we are working with has been amazing. She answered a million of my silly questions and helped us get exactly what we were looking for. And that was just for the hotel. We haven't even gotten to the point of booking dining and fast passes, and I know she will be just as great! So you can I'm surprise and excitement when this Disney encyclopedia came in the mail this week. I thought it was the sweetest touch and got me even more excited for our trip. We are bringing my FIL along with us and I know he is going to have so much fun seeing it through the boys eyes! Now to hold off talking about it in front of the boys until November because we all know children have no concept of time and I can imagine Jack asking "are we going to Disney today?" every single day from now until then.

F I V E | One of my favorite things about having the boys exactly 2 years apart is that Graham can wear all of Jacks old clothes. So when I saw a picture of Jack pop up wearing the sweetest longall I knew that I wanted to put Graham in it that same day just two years later! I love how much the boys look alike yet both look so different. Jack is definitely patricks twin and Graham is the boy version of me!

I hope that ya'll have a great weekend! We have a few fun things planned and hopefully the weather will get back to a normal winter temperature and not this humid rainy 70 that is today.

  4. We are going to Disney World soon, too!! But I'm too much of a control freak to let anyone else plan for us, haha. I did all the dining reservations and fast passes - I feel like I know enough now that I could be a planner! #kiddingnotkidding Where are y'all staying?

  10. We used that Disney book as our autograph book! Each child had one (we have 4!) and the characters signed next to their pictures. It was one of the favorite memories from the trip!!!

  11. We have a Disney vacation planned for November as well. There are two websites that I have found really helpful in planning where we want to eat are:
http://allears.net/ (this site lists menus for all the counter service, sit down restaurants, and snack places - and it's updated frequently)
http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/ (this is a website where people can put up food reviews - I have gotten so many wonderful suggestions from this site.)
We have been on many trips to Disney and have learned quite a few tips and tricks for making the trip better. If you have any trip planning questions, leave me a comment on my blog and I would be happy to answer your questions.

  12. Let's talk mascara. Holly from http://hollyshousewifelife.blogspot.com/ shared on her IG stories how to make the most of samples and use mascara samples instead of buying a large full size tube of mascara. That you often let the larger item dry out before using it all. I've been doing this and I love using up samples and not wasting money on products that I don't get to use 100%.
