Scenes from my Weekend

Happy Monday! I hope that you had a great weekend. We had another low key weekend. The weather was not what I had hoped it would be. Cloudy and cool.

Friday afternoon we spent outside. We had some friends over for dinner and we were able to enjoy the porch.

We discovered a Robins Nest in one of the bushes

This old guy is not doing well...his days are numbered and we are all so sad about it.

Saturday morning started with...you guessed it some outside time. After Grahams nap we ventured out to attempt lowes and lunch. It seemed like everyone else had the exact same idea so a loop through the lowes parking lot and we aborted mission and went straight to lunch. If you follow me on instagram you saw this picture I posted of Jack. I can't get over how cute and big boy he looks. I have always loved to dress my boys in sweet smocks..bubbles are my absolute favorite. The whole transition to a big boy wardrobe has been surprisingly more fun than I thought. He is obsessed with wearing daddy hat so to find one that is his size was perfect! That cheese face kills me!

After lunch we all went home and took naps. Post nap Jack and I headed to Target and Harris Teeter..of course he conned me into a cake pop from Starbucks.

We made naan pizzas for dinner and then Patrick and I watched the movie 'The Intern'...it was the cutest movie ever! I didn't fall asleep once..which is a huge deal!

Sunday was a lazy day. I went to church and left the boys home with Patrick. I don't think they got out of their jimmies until late afternoon. My in-laws came over for dinner and it was an early bedtime for the boys.

He's never happy when Nana and Grandaddy have to go home
Nothing like a post melt down donut to cure the blues

This week my boys are going on a little get away with their grandparents! Jack is so excited...I'm excited for a little break but already thinking about how much I'm going to miss them!

Have a great start to your week!

  3. I love naan pizzas! Sounds like a great weekend though. We sometimes abort our missions to Home Depot or Lowes for the same reason.
