Disney World Days 1-2

Hey friends, I'm back!! It was so nice to take a little bit of a blogging break and enjoy my trip last week. We really had the best time and I am excited to share all about it. I don't want to forget any details. I'm going to break this up into a few recaps and then a general post on my tips and tricks on traveling to Disney.

As I mentioned before Jack and I went on this trip with my two sisters, their 3 kids and my mom. We left Saturday morning bright and early. We were going to meet up with the rest of our crew at the Orlando airport. My sister Ellen and her 2 kids had an issue with their first flight being cancelled so unfortunately they missed their connection in Charlotte where they were going to meet up with my other sister Gray and my mom. So Jack and I ended up meeting Gray, my niece Anna, and my mom in Orlando. We caught the Magical Express and headed to the Polynesian Resort.

After checking in we grabbed a quick bite to eat and headed off to the Magic Kingdom. The nice thing about staying where we did is that we literally could see the MK from our room. The monorail goes right from our resort to the MK.

We rode Buzz Lightyear, Pirates of the Caribbean and met Ariel. A quick Mickey Mouse ice cream treat and we headed back to our hotel to meet up with Ellen and her kiddos before heading to Chef Mickey dinner at the Contemporary resort.

This dinner was so cute! Jack was so excited to see Mickey, Minnie,  Goofy, Pluto and Donald Duck. I was unsure how he would act around them but he blew me away! He perfected his sweet little smile and ran up to each one of them so excited! It was the perfect way to start our trip and made everything so worth it to see it through his eyes!

After dinner we headed back to our resort and went to bed, we knew we had to be up early the next morning.

We headed to Hollywood Studios bright and early Sunday morning. We immediately went and rode a Star Wars 3-D ride and then had fast passes for Disney Jr. Live and the little girls went to see the Little Mermaid. They were both cute shows but I think we realized that our kids were not going to be the kind to want to go and see all the shows.

Jack and Andrew got to meet Jake from Jake and the Neverland Pirates and then we headed off to Hollwood and Vine for lunch with the Disney Jr. Characters.

After lunch we went and rode Toy Story Mania which we had a FP for. Everyone loved this ride, we then decided we were ready to leave and head back to our resort. Of course Jack fell asleep as we were waiting for the bus, he got a good snooze in while we waited and rode back to the resort. We decided to spend the afternoon at the pool and then head over to the MK for dinner and a few rides.

We had a great start to our trip and the kids were all so well behaved. Jack really surprised me as I was unsure of how he would be without a good nap and staying up late! Tomorrow I'll recap the Animal Kingdom and Epcot!

Friday Favorites

Fri-YAY hey hey hey!! Y'all, I cannot believe that Jack and I are leaving for Disney World tomorrow!! I'm not sure if I've explained why it's just Jack and I going. My sister wanted to take my niece but her husband and his triplets (blended family) couldn't go due to different spring breaks and work conflicts. So she asked if Jack and I would go with them, of course I happily said SURE! Then my mom decided she wanted to go, and my other sister said she didn't want to be left out so she's pulling her two from school and going too. Its just a girls trip and our kiddos. It should be so much fun, as long as I don't get into it with my sisters, which is known to happen...every now and then {ha!}

I am going to be taking a little bit of a blogger break next week while we are gone! Be sure to follow me on insta @threeboysandagirlblog for fun updates and pictures of our trip!

My favorites for the week!

O N E | Mix and Match Travel- Y'all, Shay and Erika are seriously the best travel planners. Erika has been amazing from the start. I have probably sent her a million emails over the past 6 months and she has happily answered every question I have. I can't recommend them enough, if you're planning a trip to disney (or other places!) email them, you won't be disappointed!

T W O | Graham got his first haircut this week! Y'all, I'd be lying if I said it didn't make me so sad. Those curls are everything to me and I was terrified that they would be gone. while they aren't nearly as curly as before the cut there is definitely some curl left and I pray that as the humidity starts they will continue to get curlier.

T H R E E | Honey Bee Tees These tees are the best! I ordered a few for Jack last year and just got my order for both boys this week. They are so soft and comfy and hold up so well. I love the simplicity of them. they also have rash guards and hats! Definitely a favorite!

F O U R | I ordered these tennis shoes to take to Disney. I hope that they are as comfy as they seem!

F I V E | Happy St. Patrick's Day! The boys celebrated in their classrooms yesterday and I of course had my friend Christina make matching tee's for the boys! Graham's teacher sent me this photo and it cracked me up.

I hope ya'll have a great weekend! I can't wait to share all the details of our trip when we get back!
