-3 Month Favorites

Now that we have reached the four month mark in Graham's life I have realized that there were several things that helped us these past several months. I also have realized that I need a lot less stuff with the second babe than I thought I did with the first. When Jack was an infant I felt like I carried everything but the kitchen sink with us at all times. Now I'm lucky if I remember to grab an extra diaper and bottle when we head out the door.

- Bottle warmer...I didn't think this was a necessity until our tiny babe became a picky eater and wouldn't drink a room temperature bottle.

- We have had two babies who spit up a tremendous amount. I've been through several different burp cloths and these burpy bibs are by far the best. I go through 3-5 a day

- Pacis..both my boys have been attached to them. Graham not as much but he definitely will take it especially when he needs soothing

- bouncy seat is great to sit the babe in when you aren't holding them

- Swaddle blankets..we preferred these over the newer swaddlers that had velcro..

-Both my babies slept in the rock n play in our room for the first 3 months. I like that it's inclined especially since both had reflux/spit up issues

- I tried several different bottles but found that Dr. Browns were the best to help with reflux..they have a million parts which is the only thing I don't like. I have started throwing them in the dishwasher at night and its not so bad

- I blogged about Moms on Call a while ago. This book has been a life saver for us!

-  The hoppy lounger was great for the first few months. Graham would nap in it on the sofa. it's easy to tote around and he seemed happy lounging around in it

These are just a few of the things that I would recommend to any new mom. If you were/are like me when it came time to register I really had no idea what to get. Thankfully both my sisters had just been through it so they registered for me! My new motto is ....less is more! You don't need all that stuff that you think you do!
