Thursday Confessions

Whew this week has been so hard for me to get back into the swing of things!

Here we go with this weeks confessions...

// Graham started rolling both directions this past weekend. I had been praying for this day for weeks because I thought it would help him when he rolls over in his crib. wrong. He still just flails around. On the other hand he is constantly rolling whenever he is on the floor and even tries to when I put him in the bouncy seat. I liked it better when he just laid there and I didn't have to worry every time I walked out of the room. Guess this is the beginning of the end when it comes to being mobile!

// Both my kids were up last night. Jack ended up in our bed and Graham was up crying from about 4:45 on. I can't wait for the day when Graham sleeps through the night and I can get some good sleep...when will that actually happen? when they go to college? Probably not...Mama Tired!

// Sometimes I feel like starting a blog is like being the new kid in high school. You want to instantly make friends but everyone has their established friends and so you have to slowly work your way in.

// I really wish I loved to workout...my sister kills it on the reg with her daily workouts...I'm lucky if I can motivate myself 2-3 times a week to get in a quick workout at home. Its one of those things that I know I need to do but can come up with a million reasons as to why I didn't get a workout in....excuses...lame.

// I have about 5 loads of laundry that need to be done today. I have major slacked off on doing laundry and now its caught up with me. Its not so much the laundry part I dread but the folding and putting away. I wish there was a magical laundry fairy who would come to my house and fold and put everything away where it goes.

// Jack has started saying "Just five minutes" when I ask him to do something. It partly drives me crazy because I want him to do it when I ask but part of me loves it. I don't know where he picked it up but I think its the cutest thing ever. He must have heard us say it when it comes to nap time and bed time. "Five more minutes until nap time.." This kid...I love him more and more every day. As if that were possible!

So there are a few of my confessions this week! What's on your mind this week? Share in the comments, I'd love to hear what your crazy confessions are!

* Linking up with Jess and Annie today!

  1. I totally understand about making blog friends. If people don't interact back with you it's so tough. I'm here for you girl!! :) yay for rolling over but boo to not rolling in the crib. You will get back to good sleep. It took over a year with my second one but it's finally happened.

  2. I felt the same way about the blog thing. I was so intimidated to comment on posts - everyone commenting seemed to be such good friends. I must've followed some blogs for nearly a year before finally commenting! Haha, my daughter does the same thing with asking for more time when I ask her to do something. Sometimes she asks for a "little minute" and it's just so adorable.

  4. Can I just say, yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes to EVERYTHING! Also HUUGE yes to feeling like the new kid in high school. Although, I've been blogging since 2012 and I feel like I've finnnnnally found my people (you and this group being "those people" Haha) and it seems as though you're doing waaaaaay better than I did when I started. Seriously! LOL! Have a great day, girl and have fun with that laundry...I'm right there with ya! ;)
