As a mom there are certain things that we just automatically know about. {the basics} but then there are things that you only learn about from other mamas. The experienced ones. The ones that have been through it all and that you can turn to when you need them!

I'm about to let you in on a little secret that I had no idea even existed until I had Jack..well really until I had Graham. There is an entire fund set up by a little known singer DOLLY PARTON that allows you to build a book library for your kids.. for F.R.E.E. Yep, you read that right! All you have to do is sign up {may not be available in all counties} and every month from the time your child is born until they turn 5 you are sent a book each month! That's a total of sixty {6-0} books that you get for your child! Let me say that again...for free!!

Each book is selected based on your childs age and things that would be of interest to them. So your babies are getting board books and things that are bright and help keep their focus, while your five year old is getting books that are helping them prepare for Kindergarten. It's seriously the best program and idea I've ever heard of!

I am sad to say that I was lazy and never actually registered Jack until Graham was born. But since then we have been getting our monthly books. It's so fun to receive them and read them to the boys.
