If you missed my recap of days 1 and 2 check it out here! Monday morning we were up bright and early to head to Animal Kingdom. We had early breakfast reservations at Tusker House. This breakfast was so yummy and it was another character meet and greet!
After breakfast we were able to catch The Festival Of the Lion King show. It was so good! We weren't sure if we were going to do this or not but it happened to start right as we were leaving breakfast and so we walked right in. Our kids really loved it, the music and dancing were great. After this we had a FP for the Kilimanjaro Safari. This was such a great tour. You really got to see the animals up close. It was definitely bumpy but we all really enjoyed it.
Once we finished the safari we did a little souvenir shopping and then decided that we wanted to head to the Magic Kingdom. There weren't a ton of rides/shows that we wanted to see at AK. Jack fell asleep in the stroller as we waited for the bus to MK.
We rode some rides and decided to get some ice cream on our way out of the park. it happened to be during the afternoon parade so it was fun to be able to watch that and eat our ice cream.
By the time we got back to our resort my feet were killing me! My lower back felt like it was going to go out, I was a hot mess. We quickly took showers and got ready to head to dinner at Disney Springs. We had reservations at T-Rex Cafe. We hopped a cab instead of waiting for the bus and our driver dropped us off about a mile away from the restaurant. I was so glad that we decided to bring our strollers, Jack would have been having a melt down walking all that way. I have to admit, this was my least favorite meal of the week. I thought that they kids would really enjoy the restaurant but they were all so worn out from the day that they all just sat and watched their iPads. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cool but it was so super loud that we could hardly have a conversation. I also failed to take any pictures.
By the time we got home it was 9:30 and everyone was beyond tired. Jack was asleep before his head even hit the pillow!
Tuesday morning was another early rise! We were off to Epcot to have breakfast with the Princess' at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall. Originally we had lunch reservations but after seeing the menu we all decided we didn't want to do it so I cancelled. I happened to stumble upon breakfast reservations the day before and was so excited. This was easily our favorite breakfast. It was so fresh and delish! The princess' came to our table and the little girls were so excited, I have to say I think Jack was smitten with them too!
After breakfast we headed to ride Soarin, I can't recommend this ride enough! It was SO fun, we all wished we were able to have ridden it again. We then went to ride The Seas With Nemo and Friends. It was a cute ride and Jack enjoyed it. Once this was finished we headed back to Norway to ride Frozen. We had a bit of time so the little girls waited to meet Anna and Elsa and we took the boys and walked around. It was the flower and garden festival so the flowers were beautiful. It was nice to walk and see all the work that had gone into it.
We all rode Frozen Ever After. This was such a fun and cute ride. We all really loved it! After Frozen we walked around the different countries and decided to eat lunch in Italy. Jack fell asleep just before we got to Italy and slept through the entire lunch.
After we finished lunch we headed back to our resort and hung out at the pool for the afternoon. We decided that we would eat dinner at our resort and then head over to the MK and ride a few rides and stay for the fireworks show. Well but the time 9:00 rolled around we were all exhausted and decided to bag the fireworks and head back to our resort. We were able to catch the fireworks on the dock of the resort which ended up being just fine with me, especially since Jack decided he was afraid of them!
Another fun yet exhausting day! Wednesday was our last day and we spent it at Magic Kingdom! I will recap that and also all the things we liked/didnt like and tips/tricks in my final recap later this week!

LOVE! Epcot is just such a cool place and Soarin was amazing. Oh goodness you have me wanting to go back now too. Can't wait to read all about your final thoughts.
ReplyDeleteI love Animal Kingdom! Such a cool addition to Disney. Course it's been a long time since I went there. :) You are seriously making me so excited to go with the kids. I'll need your help with what to do once it's time.

ReplyDeleteOH my word, so much fun! Seeing your posts is making me giddy! I want to go so bad! And Belle's dress!! I want one in my size!
ReplyDeleteYou are making me want to go there. I have only been to Disneyland, so now I want to go to Magic Kingdom, Disney World and all the stuff you went to. Looks like a great time!
ReplyDeleteLove reading these recaps! We loved Tusker House too! Such good food - I think I went back up to the buffet like 5 times, haha. I wished we had done the park hopper because Animal Kingdom definitely wasn’t a full day park. I would’ve loved to split the day with MK like you guys did - great plan!
ReplyDeleteThe picture of jack in front of the elevator at the poly brings back so many good memories! That was the boys favorite "ride" :)
