Since we are full on into summer mode {and the temperature and humidity is here to prove it} I thought it would be fun to pick some of my "toddler pins" to talk about today. I'm listing several fun activities that you can do with your toddler to help keep them occupied and having fun! {er..maybe off the iPad too... Hey Jack that's for you!}
This is a cute list and seems like most are pretty easy/attainable to do
Jack loves to "fish" in the bathtub..this would be cute to setup in our baby pool outside.
I'm not the most crafty when it comes to art projects but this seems like it would be easy and turn out so cute! You could do Red, White, and Blue for the Fourth of July
I've been wanting to do a scavenger hunt with Jack but havn't been sure if he was too young. These are all things that he knows and could find!
What toddler doesn't like to pour things..over and over and over..
We have been working on colors, shapes, and numbers. You could easily adapt this to do shapes using Lucky charms cereal. You could also turn it into a counting game.
I love those craft ideas. The fishing one is so much fun! Summer bucket lists are fun and we love checking things off our list. I'm trying to do less screen time for the kids and am usually successful since we are outside so much but sometimes I just need that time with them distracted to get things done.

ReplyDeleteOh this is excellent! I totally needed this - thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThese are great toddler ideas. I could use these right about now. My girls need to be distracted if I want to get anything around the house done. Love these ideas.
