Jack Turns Four!

Happy Monday ya'll! I hope you had a great weekend. We had a long weekend here. Thursday Jack, Patrick and I left for Greensboro for Patricks cousins wedding. Jack was the cutest ring bearer and made it down the aisle without a meltdown! We got back Saturday morning (Wedding was Friday) and quickly turned around and left for the State/Clemson game. I was exhausted by the time we got home. Sunday Jack turned the big FOUR!

I just can't believe that he is four! Where did these past years go? The saying "the days are long but the years are short" is so very true! We had a great low key day. We went to the All Saints Service at Patricks dads church followed by a lunch there. Afternoon naps for all of us and then Jacks sweet little bestie Charlotte and her parents came over for pizza and cookie cake with us and Patricks dad.

I remember Jack's birth like it was yesterday. Year three may have been my favorite year yet! Jack you are the sweetest little boy. I love having conversations with you. Your imagination is amazing and the things you come up with make me laugh on a daily basis. You love your brother so much. Your favorite thing is to lay down and have him lay on top of you and give you a big hug.  You too have really started playing with each other. You love to run laps around the kitchen/den and have Graham chase you. Ya'll are wild boys and I wouldn't want it any other way!  Jack, you light up my life. Even if you don't sleep in your bed every night I secretly love having you snuggle up next to us and hear you say "Mommy, its morning!" when it's time to get up. I know soon enough you won't want to sleep with us anymore. You love to sit in my lap or right next to me. I'm okay with that,  I know that soon enough you will not even want to be in the same room as me. Jack, I love when you reach for my hand as we walk to and from your classroom each day. I love that you still give me hugs and kisses whenever I ask. I adore hearing you say "I love you mommy" Just out of the blue. I could go on and on and on about how much I love you sweet boy. I cannot wait to see what year four has in store for you. I know you are going to do big things! We love you to the moon and back Jack!

And don't forget that on Wednesday Owen, Brittany and I are starting our Christmas Gift Guides link-up. We are starting with Kids gifts so get those guides ready ladies, we can't wait to see what all ya'll are shopping for!

  4. Oh my goodness, what a good weekend! Sweet little Jack's smile just melted my heart. Look what a sweet babe he's become! Four is such a big year - no longer a toddler and becoming a real little kid. So precious. Happy birthday!
