Halloween 2017

Happy November 1st! Y'all, how is that possible? October FLEW by! Halloween 2017 was a success! We had a great day with only one or two minor melt downs, ha #momlife

We started the day with preschool. Jack was able to wear his costume to school and the 3's and 4's did a little parade with some songs. It was the cutest thing ever. I felt like such a mom, so proud of my sweet boy and trying to snap photos and video the entire thing!

Jack dressed up as a Power Ranger for school.

After school it was home for lunch and naps. Once the boys woke up we headed over to see my FIL and show him their costumes. I couldn't get Graham to put on the power rangers costume I bought for him so I improvised and found Jack's Mickey Mouse Costume that he wore when he was 2! I actually loved seeing this on Graham and the side by side comparison of the two of them. Jack decided he wanted to be a fireman again this year. Luckily we still had last years costume, It was a bit small but worked out just fine! The boys were happy and therefore I did not care!

After we went to Steve's house we came home and got ready to have a few friends over for dinner and trick-or-treating. Everyone brought apps and we just stood around the kitchen eating and letting the kids play before heading out. Graham had one epic two year old meltdown over who knows what. Thankfully he got it together and we were able to all trick-or-treat together.

This was the first time we've trick-or-treated in our neighborhood. It was so nice, we live in the back/side of our neighborhood and there was literally no one on our street. We loved it! Towards the front of our neighborhood is insane and people come in by the car load. I was thankful not to have to weave in and out of cars. We went to a few houses on our street and then headed back home. The boys loved it! The big boys really loved it, this was the first year they were running from house to house saying "Trick-or-Treat!" Graham just wanted to chase after them but didn't so much care about getting the candy in his bucket. Sweet James just hung back in the wagon...always so chill, unlike his friend Graham!

It was a great Halloween! So fun to see it through the eyes of my boys!
