This was such a fun weekend!
I feel like our weekend really got started on Thursday! We went to the NC State/Louisville game. It was an 8:00 game and so fun! State played awesome and we ended up winning. We stayed the whole game so we didn't get home until a little before 1 a.m. Needless to say I was riding the struggle bus Friday morning!
Friday evening my bestie came to town with her little girl. They arrived and we all went over to a girlfriends house and had pizza and let all of littles run around and be wild!
Saturday morning we woke up and Jack had a soccer game. Brooke and Grace stayed home with Graham (thankfully!)
After Jacks soccer game we took the two big kids to lunch and to one of our local garden nurseries for their fall festival. The weather was so hot and humid but the kids had fun!
Saturday night we left the babes with my sitter and we headed out to dinner to celebrate my birthday. We met up with several other friends and had dinner at this great steak place, a favorite of ours! Its a tiny hole in the wall and literally he comes around with a slab of beef and asks how many ounces you want. You get a great salad bar, steak, potato and piece of bread. That's it. Its definitely a local favorite and a little gem in North Carolina.
Sunday morning we woke to rain! Brooke and Grace had to head back home after breakfast. We spent the rest of the day being lazy. Patrick and Jack ran some errands and I hardly moved from the sofa most of the day. Everyone got a good afternoon nap, and I even watched one of Hallmarks fall movies!
That evening my FIL came over and we had burgers and cake. It was a great day spent with the ones that I love most! Here's to year 32, may it be even better than year 31 ( and with a lot less sadness!)
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Happy Birthday - it sounds like you had a great weekend. I had rain all day yesterday too! At least the heat went away for a bit.
