Friday Favorites

Happy Fri-YAY!!! Well my weekend plans have  changed just a smidgen. My poor bestie came down with a stomach bug and so I didn't end up leaving early to go spend the night with her. I am so bummed. I haven't seen her in over a year and I was so excited to meet her baby girl! Guess that means another trip must be planned soon! I am however still leaving today for my weekend with my high school besties! I'm so excited for some girl time!!

My favorites from the week!

O N E | Do ya'll use Targets red perks app? I guess technically now its combined with the cartwheel app but still the same. I had a ton of points built up and was able to get this awesome contigo water bottle for FREE! I love a good water bottle and I'm really trying hard to drink more. Theres something that makes me drink more out of a fun cup/bottle. Here's to chugging....water!

T W O | I have mentioned a dozen times how much we love Jack and Grahams preschool teachers. Jacks teachers created a yearbook which had pictures/memories from the whole year. We just picked them up yesterday. They were precious. I definitely cried as I was reading through it. It's amazing how much they have grown! I wish I could show you all the pages!

T H R E E | The other day Jack and I had to run an errand after tumble. It was right across the street from my FIL office so we decided to pop in and say hey. I love living in a small town and getting to do this. Jack was so excited to see his grandaddy and my FIL was equally as excited to see Jack. He ended up staying and helping him "work" and then went home with him. I just love watching this relationship grow between them!

F O U R | A few weeks ago Cheerios had a campaign going on where you could sign up and receive wild flower seed packets in the mail. They wanted to "save the bees" We got ours this week and I can't wait to plant them and watch them grow!

F I V E | Is there anything sweeter than post bath snuggles? Goodness this baby is precious!

S I X | I bought some fresh strawberries over the weekend and still had a bunch left. Last night I decided to whip up some Strawberry banana bread and muffins. I am going to take the bread to the lake with me and send some muffins to the beach with the boys and leave some for Patrick to enjoy this weekend! The recipe was really easy and yummy. I did adjust the amount of sugar from 1 cup to 3/4 cup.

I hope you have the best weekend!!

  1. My sister got seeds too from Cheerios--I totally forgot about it! Living in a small town does have it's perks! We had to return our tax documents to our accountant last night so we just walked to her house since we live so close! I tote a water bottle around at school so I can track my water intake. I like drinking out of one, too! Happy Friday!

  2. Yum, I LOVE strawberry bread! And how sweet about your father-in-law; I grew up in a small town and we would do stuff like this all the time. I have such great memories of that and I know your boys will, too! And we are going to have to chat about Red Perks; I totally overuse Cartwheel (and their mobile coupons) but I've never heard about this! Happy Friday, friend! Enjoy your weekend!

  12. I'm so sorry your bestie got sick. Boo! At least you still had the weekend with friends. We did the Bring Back the Bees campaign too. Emmy loved planting the seeds. We did some in the garden and a few in a pot. She has been watching that pot like a hawk and we have tiny little plants. Target Red Perks...do tell friend because I'm all about earning points for the tons of money I spend there. Ha ha
